digiTEACH concludes with its final event and partnership meeting in Paris
On 23 and 24 September 2026, the digiTEACH partnership gathered in Paris for the project’s final dissemination event and TPM, marking the conclusion of 3 years of cooperation among organisations from France, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Spain and Türkiye.
The final event was held on 23 September at Saint Dominique School in Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the French schools involved in the testing of the digiTEACH educational resources. It brought together 50 participants, including teachers, students, school representatives, educational stakeholders and members of the project partnership.
During the event, RenaSup presented the development and main achievements of digiTEACH. Particular attention was given to the e-learning platform and ArtCloud, which provide free access to 89 high-resolution artworks from the 6 participating countries, together with the research, teaching methodology and educational resources created during the project.
Participants also discovered the educational paths developed for learners aged 11–13 and 14–16. These resources help teachers connect European artworks with history, literature, citizenship, cultural heritage and other subjects through practical classroom activities. The 2 additional transnational educational paths were presented as examples of how artworks from all 6 countries can be connected through shared European themes.
Teachers and students involved in the French testing phase contributed directly to the event by sharing their experience of using the platform and its resources. Their testimonies offered concrete insight into the educational value of high-resolution artworks and into the opportunities that digiTEACH creates for visual, interdisciplinary and student-centred learning.
Representatives of each partner organisation also briefly presented their role and reflected on the project journey, from the initial research and the digitalisation of artworks to the creation of the platform, teacher training, school testing and dissemination activities across Europe.
Following the public event, the partnership began its final TPM, which continued on the morning of 24 September at the RenaSup premises in Paris. The meeting was coordinated by RenaSup and provided an opportunity to review the results achieved during the final project phase.
Partners discussed the testing conducted in schools across the 6 countries, the feedback received from teachers and students, the final dissemination activities and the adaptations introduced to address the challenges encountered during implementation. Particular attention was given to the continuation of the European school network through the digiTEACH TwinSpace, the Digital Exchange Starter Pack and an asynchronous exchange model designed to allow schools to cooperate according to their own schedules and digital capacity.
The meeting also covered the final reporting process, financial and administrative checks, the documentation to be provided by each partner and the long-term sustainability of the project results. Partners agreed to continue promoting the platform through their educational and cultural networks and to encourage schools to use the artworks, methodology and educational paths after the end of Erasmus+ funding.
The Paris event and final meeting represented both the conclusion of the funded project and the beginning of its follow-up phase. digiTEACH leaves behind a practical set of resources that can continue supporting digital innovation, cultural education and European cooperation in the classroom.
